Westpoint Blacktown

The shopping centre is fine but the parking staff are arrogant and unhelpful

Wish I could give 0 stars. We shopped around Westpoint for around 50 minutes (which is well below the maximum free car park time) and when we went to exit the car park, the ramp would not open & we were told to pay $7. We tried calling the help button but nobody answered, even after we tried calling 3-4 times. I ended up calling the Wilson’s Carpark service number & was answered by someone who didn’t speak English very proficiently was not of much help as we could not really understand her. We backed out of that exit & tried another exit & called the help button again. We were answered by an older man who clearly had a very short fuse & proceeded to scold us. Instead of kindly explaining what we might’ve did wrong, he yelled at us as if we committed a crime. Maybe Wilson’s Carpark westpoint should work on hiring people that don’t have anger issues, for a start.

Disgraceful parking in this shopping even if you forget something to buy and back again, they will charge you as being whole day

We had gone to watch a movie this afternoon at around 2pm and after receiving our extended hours, we had left the car park and re-entered to do some shopping. Spending less than three hours of free parking, the car park exit machine had said we had 20 dollars to pay. So we talked to the assistance/serviceman named Keison or something, who in fact spoke quite rudely to us when we were asking for assistance, explaining that we had been living in blacktown for 15 years without this issue, and that paying 20 dollars is quite unacceptable. After a few problems with scanning of the actual machine, a kind lady had come to help us, however this man on the speaker continued to act arrogant and self righteous as we wished for the machine to work, we had mentioned that we were going to make a complaint about this, especially since there was no indication of this new condition of the parking, he had continued to speak rudely and cut the call speaker in the middle of us talking. How rude!

Hi went to this car park this morning as my son had a doctors appointment after one went home and dropped my son to daycare and came to westpoint again did grocery and came to find at ticket machine to pay $6 while I was there only 2hrs what a disgrace there are no details anywhere in this parking which tell u about that parking second time they charge you customer service man was very rude and arrogant.I will be avoiding to go this shopping centre again.

What a disgrace we went to do our shopping then went home after 2 hours then had to go back to go to the drs as our son gets sick due to his heart condition was there for another hour or two went to leave but to be told that we owe $16 not knowing that u cannot leave and come back on the same day or your time will carry on the security had a attitude problem as my wife went to settle down my son and accidentally bumped into him then to be told u better watch out who u bump into not happy
